PRE TREATMENT ADVICE & INSTRUCTIONS

Please follow the instructions below on how best to  prepare for your treatment:

Avoid the use of Retinoids and Chemical/Manual exfoliation for 7 days unless otherwise discussed in your prescribed homecare plan.

Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat  

Avoid the application of excessive make-up on the day of your treatment

Avoid the application of restrictive clothing around the treatment area  

Allow a minimum of 24 hours to pass after shaving before your treatment

POST TREAMENT ADVICE & INSTRUCTIONS

Important: Keep your skin hydrated. Hydration is key to proper healing - Drink plenty of water for the next 12-24 hours.

In order to obtain maximum results and avoid complications, please follow the post-peel instructions listed below for approximately 4 to 10 days:

Allow the skin to stabilise and rest overnight before your next make-up application.

Use a full spectrum SPF daily

Avoid exposure to direct sun and excessive heat until the skin has re stabilised. Always reapply SPF when in direct sun.

DO NOT cleanse your skin in the evening of your peel.

DO NOT touch the treated area for 12-24 hours.

DO NOT pick or pull any flaking skin.

DO NOT use harsh perfumed, astringent or alcohol containing products on the area for 24-48 hours.

DO NOT shave or use any after-shave type products over the area that has been treated for 12-48 hours.

DO NOT use hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and/or excessively hot showers/baths for 2 days post treatment.

DO NOT go swimming for a minimum of 2 days post treatment.

DO NOT participate in aerobic exercise for 2 days post treatment.

DO NOT have electrolysis, waxing, threading or any other form of hair removal for 7 days post treatment.

DO NOT have additional skin treatments in the next 14 days.

DO NOT tan or use a tanning booth for at least 14 days post peel.

DO NOT use facial scrubs or mechanical forms of exfoliation for 14 days post peel.

Please also take the below into consideration:

Allowing pets to lick the treated areas could lead to topical infections

Wearing a face mask for long periods of time after your treatment will trap heat into treated area which could also cause and adverse reaction.

As will:

Heating in the car.

Wearing scarfs or restrictive clothing.

Cooking over direct heat or open fires
